Thon La Chu, northwest of Hue was occupied by an NVA headquarters of approximately 2,000 troops.  The 2/12th Cavalry narrowly escaped being wiped-out by this much larger force.

NVA forces attacked the Nam Giao Engineer compound during their operations in Hue, Tet Offensive.

The NVA attacked the Tam Hai ARVN Base during the Tet Offensive in Hue.
